Job Description
Position Overview
At Autodesk, we empower innovators to imagine, design, and make a better world. Our technology helps shape the buildings we inhabit, the products we rely on, and the experiences that connect us—transforming ideas into outcomes that matter.
We’re looking for a Senior Art Director to help elevate how that story is expressed visually. This role is for a creative leader who sees design as both craft and catalyst—someone who can set a bold visual direction while building systems that endure.
You’ll concept and direct high-impact, multi-channel campaigns that strengthen Autodesk’s brand and bring our technology to life in clear, human, and inspiring ways. Working closely with writers, designers, marketers, product leaders, and external partners, you’ll shape work that is thoughtful, ambitious, and grounded in real-world impact.
Beyond campaigns, you’ll help define and evolve the visual standards that guide Autodesk’s brand—creating coherence across touchpoints while leaving room for expression, experimentation, and growth.
At Autodesk, creativity is collaborative by nature. The strongest ideas emerge through shared thinking, trust, and constructive challenge. We value curiosity over certainty, generosity over ego, and creative ambition balanced with clarity and intention. Culture matters here, and we believe great teams create work that moves both people and industries forward.

- Set and uphold a high visual bar across all branded creative, ensuring alignment with Autodesk’s evolving brand system
- Help evolve Autodesk’s visual identity in ways that are distinctive, flexible, and built to scale
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as an Art Director, in-house and/or at a creatively respected agency, with a portfolio demonstrating strong work for modern technology brands
- Bring exceptional visual design fundamentals with fluency across digital, social, film, print, and experiential channels

- Can confidently give creative direction in tools like Figma and PowerPoint, as well as on set
- Think conceptually and strategically, and can translate ideas into compelling visual systems
- Thrive in fast-moving environments and know how to scale ideas under tight timelines
- Are deeply invested in design craft and committed to building systems and stories that elevate brand expression over time
- Value collaboration, feedback, and partnership across creative, marketing, and product teams

- Experience working with design, manufacturing, construction, or media & entertainment industries
- Can manage on-site photo and video shoots
- Familiarity with integrated campaign development and brand systems
