Overview
Autodesk is seeking a Product Manager - Developer Experience to lead our internal development platform. This role focuses on enhancing developer productivity along the software development lifecycle. You will integrate AI tools and practices to reduce toil and boost efficiency for thousands of engineers while delivering platform capabilities that serve millions of customers.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities and pain points in the developer experience.
- Prioritize and manage the roadmap for the internal development platform.
- Translate business and user needs into security-focused, high-quality features.
- Conduct competitive research aligned with emerging trends in developer tools and AI.
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, and research teams to validate solutions.
- Drive data-informed product decisions and present outcomes to senior leadership.
- Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of product management experience in platform or developer productivity tools.
- Experience delivering internal platform capabilities at an enterprise scale.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like GitHub, CloudBees, Artifactory, Kubernetes, and Dynatrace.
- Familiarity with AI developer tools integration and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong capabilities in managing complex, cross-organizational initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional storytelling, communication, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with Autodesk products and cloud platform services.
- Experience in 2D and 3D graphics is a plus.
- Competence in defining product metrics and measuring the impact.
- Comfort in navigating ambiguity and driving results.
