Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Developer Relations team within our Developer Ecosystem Organization. In this role, as Manager, Software Development Global Developer Relations, you will lead a global Developer Relations team focused on CI/CD, Observability, Cloud Computing support, and onboarding to CloudOS, Autodesk’s enterprise Cloud Development Platform, as well as regionalization efforts.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and Cloud deployments, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to inspire a high-performing team in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage high-performance technical support engineering teams and foster growth.
  • Design and implement tools for automated support systems.
  • Collaborate in technical and architectural discussions and decision-making.
  • Communicate regularly with engineers, architects, product owners, and product managers.
  • Remove roadblocks and empower teams to deliver quality software.
  • Build a trusting, mature operational culture with mentoring and support.
  • Support internal development teams with methodologies, documentation, and productivity tools.
  • Navigate escalations and bridge communication between engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7–12 years experience managing and growing engineering teams focused on CI/CD, Cloud deployment, and DevOps with developer advocacy.
  • Primary skills: CI/CD, AWS, Containerization, Terraform.
  • Secondary skills: Observability, Programming, Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Database Management, Networking), Kubernetes, API Management with GCP Apigee.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in setting technical standards, agile practices, and working with distributed teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to simplify complex technical issues.
