Role Overview: Junior Recruiter

This is a mission-driven role supporting national hiring efforts. Reporting to the Senior Recruiter, you will coordinate candidate communication, schedule interviews, and ensure an inclusive, high-quality candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Candidate Coordination & Communication: Schedule, confirm interviews, and manage candidate communications.
  • Talent Sourcing & Screening: Source candidates via job boards, social media, and internal databases and conduct phone screens for entry-level roles.
  • Recruiting Operations: Post jobs, extend verbal offers, and maintain recruiting reports and dashboards.
  • Candidate Experience & Employer Brand: Support recruitment marketing campaigns, DEI outreach, and represent Author Health values.
  • Onboarding Assistance: Initiate background checks, send assessments, and manage onboarding communications.

Who We Are Seeking

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of recruiting or HR coordination experience (healthcare/behavioral health is a plus), excellent communication skills, strong organizational capabilities, and is tech-savvy with experience using ATS platforms (ADP preferred), Google Suite, Monday.com, and Slack. A positive attitude, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment with occasional travel (up to 10%) are essential.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 USD
  • 401k Retirement Savings Plan with up to 3.5% company match
