Overview

The Preconstruction Project Manager is responsible for the success of the schedule, logistics, utilities, permitting, and other key elements for each project managed. The role involves close collaboration with Aurora Contractors LLC and clients to keep everyone informed of project progress.

Essential Functions

  • Manage bid and project schedules, logistics plans, and safety integration.
  • Coordinate with local utilities to secure necessary connections.
  • Track and obtain project permits, schedule inspections, and ensure compliance.
  • Support execution of master contracts and manage trade contractor distributions.
  • Oversee general requirements setup, procurement activities, and financial reporting.
  • Initiate project startups, mobilize efforts, and resolve procurement conflicts.
  • Procure and oversee consultant services during pre-construction.
  • Clarify proposal details and exclusions for accurate team comprehension.
  • Review and distribute initial submittals for design and coordination.
  • Develop and mentor direct reports for performance and skill advancement.

  • Proven experience coordinating with design teams, trade contractors, and utility providers.
