Job Summary
As a Travel Physical Therapist at Aura Health, you will play a crucial role in evaluating patients, diagnosing physical limitations, and developing personalized treatment plans. Your expertise will be vital in helping patients reduce their reliance on surgery and medication through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess physical condition and functional limitations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing exercises, stretches, manual therapy, and therapeutic equipment.
- Educate patients on home exercise programs and strategies to promote recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adapt treatment approaches based on patient response and evolving clinical needs.
- Travel to various client sites to provide physical therapy services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- At least 1 year of current, relevant clinical experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Valid State Healthcare Provider license or willingness to obtain one.
- Current CPR certification may be required.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
