Data Analyst

Aumni is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join their team. The successful candidate will operate in a data analyst capacity, learning from senior members and contributing to various projects across multiple environments, teams, technologies, and stakeholders. This role is integral to both development and operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a data analyst capacity and learn from senior members of the team.
• Filter and clean pricing and reference data by reviewing internal reports.
• Assist with normalizing, cleaning, enriching, and mapping data to help maintain the reference database.
• Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify issues and recommend appropriate methods to resolve data integrity concerns.
• Identify patterns and outliers in large data sets to help continuously improve product offerings.
• Produce data-driven data samples and reports for clients.
• Liaise with internal groups to refresh and test data and platform features as necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in BBA/B.COM, or equivalent (finance background).
• 0-2 years of experience in a business/office environment.
• Ability to analyze large datasets.
• Strong administrative, organizational, written, and verbal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to multi-task and perform with a sense of urgency when required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working in financial technology firms.
• Exposure to Fixed Income markets, ideally with Muni’s Corporates.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, and PowerBI is desirable.
