Summary
Under the guidance of the Chief and Assistant Chief Engineer, the Facilities Engineer supports day-to-day operations of the Facilities team at Augustine Casino. This role involves answering calls, repairing equipment, conducting inspections, facility walkthroughs, and performing preventative maintenance, ensuring all safety protocols and PPE requirements are followed.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to guests and team members.
- Complete timely repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers and more.
- Accurately read meters, gauges, and testing instruments for troubleshooting.
- Document all repairs and preventive maintenance reports accurately.
- Execute departmental technical projects including electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Manage landscaping, sprinkler, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry repairs.
- Utilize cost-estimating methods and follow OSHA guidelines and safety policies.
- Ensure compliance with Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
- Uphold a positive company image when engaging with guests and vendors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Information
The role requires 3-5 years experience in facility maintenance across multiple disciplines. Applicants must be familiar with boom lifts/scissor lifts, obtain certification for heavy equipment within 90 days, and be available for emergency call-ins including possible weekend and overnight shifts. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record is necessary.
