Job Overview: GIS Analyst

Audubon Field Solutions is seeking a GIS Analyst to join our Houston, TX office. The role involves performing analysis and data management tasks associated with survey and ROW activities.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain pipeline geospatial data in ArcGIS software and databases.
  • Publish and edit content for ArcGIS Online and Enterprise Portal.
  • Create and maintain web maps/apps and develop Smart Forms within Field Maps.
  • Create dashboards in ArcGIS Online and Portal, and update ad hoc maps and drawings.
  • Conduct spatial analysis, geoprocessing and data interpretation.
  • Collaborate with project leaders and engineers on GIS updates from pipeline projects.
  • Provide support for GIS software and GPS hardware for field technicians.
  • Work with subject matter experts to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality.
  • Develop process documentation and provide training to stakeholders.
  • Comply with all company, client, federal, and local HSSE standards and regulations.
  • Participate actively in hazard identification and report unsafe conditions.

Experience and Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Geosciences (Geography, GIS) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop/ArcGIS Pro and related ESRI Apps including Field Maps, Survey 123, AGOL, and Portal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server), PODS, UPDM, Python, and Arcade Expression Language.
  • Experience with processing LiDAR and photogrammetry datasets.
  • Knowledge of geodatabase design and schema in ArcSDE.
