Billing Analyst at Audubon Companies
Audubon is currently seeking a Billing Analyst to join our team in our Houston, TX Office. The Billing Analyst should have basic knowledge and concepts related to project accounting. This role requires the ability to work under pressure, handle multiple functions and tasks, and possess excellent communication skills while working closely with project managers, collections, and the finance team.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the invoicing process for multiple projects on varying time cycles.
- Process drafts and route them to project managers for review and approval.
- Follow up on aged and unbilled drafts with project managers.
- Collaborate with project managers to resolve corrections or adjustments.
- Ensure timely corrections for expense reports and time card adjustments, and rework drafts as necessary.
- Process and submit invoice adjustments with proper approval.
- Submit intercompany and external billings to clients.
- Work with A/R on outstanding invoices.
- Perform ad hoc reporting as needed.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- High School, Associate's, or Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 1 year experience in construction, engineering, or project accounting.
- Working with time and material, fixed fee, or cost plus projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- MS Dynamics exposure preferred but not required.
