Role Summary

The Supply Chain Operations Specialist Sr works closely with the Supply Chain Manager, operations specialists, regional sales managers, port managers, logistics teams, and various departments to ensure efficient execution of supply chain initiatives including shipping, inventory, and wholesale forecasting. This role serves as the key interface between corporate, port operations and retail partners.

Role Responsibilities

Sales Support functions (50%): Monitor dealer supply, report on port operations, implement allocation opportunities, support corporate sales in shipments, track inventory, and participate in weekly calls to address issues and propose efficiency solutions.

Manage and Optimize Supply Chain (30%): Monitor vehicle flow, collaborate with logistics and port managers, manage KPIs, investigate variances, and oversee transportation budgets and quality actions with key stakeholders.

Support Vehicle Launches (10%): Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure launch readiness, track launch volume, manage port coordination, and support timely delivery of vehicles.

IT Initiatives (10%): Act as an expert on distribution systems, represent business needs on IT projects, manage project timelines and budgets, and work to resolve system bottlenecks.

Years of Experience & Education

7-10 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.

Skills & Requirements

  • Analytical, conceptual & problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership abilities
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and Tableau
  • In-depth automotive industry experience
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with domestic and international teams

Work Flexibility

Hybrid work arrangement with 10% domestic travel.
