About the Role

The Security Operations Analyst is a mission-critical role within the Security, Infrastructure and Performance team. You will maintain a vigilant security posture by protecting organizational assets, infrastructure, and data in real time.

Core Responsibilities and Duties

• Security Monitoring & Triage: Detect, prioritise, and respond to active threats using SIEM, EDR, and Cloud tools.
• Incident Response: Act as first responder to analyze, classify and manage security events.
• Compliance: Enforce internal security policies and regulatory requirements through thorough documentation and analysis.
• Security Log & Network Analysis: Analyze logs from various sources and understand attack vectors and TTPs.
• Vulnerability Management: Use scanning tools to manage vulnerabilities and work with engineering teams for remediation.

Competencies and Skills

• Expertise with SIEM platforms (e.g., Google SecOps).
• Practical experience with incident response procedures and playbook development.
• Deep understanding of network protocols and security log analysis.
• Experience using vulnerability scanning tools and managing disclosure programs.
