Global Category Management Manager

Attends Healthcare Products, Inc. is seeking a Global BCP Category Management Manager at its Raleigh, NC location.

Job Description

Support business efforts dedicated to achieving profitable growth goals on respective global categories and their segments. Contribute to strategic category business and budget planning processes. Assist in the development of a profitable, differentiated global category growth strategy. Support key product and innovation initiatives defined within the category strategy. Responsible for staying current on consumer, customer, competitor, and product insights globally and utilizing those insights to shape and hone the global category strategy and its initiatives. Serve as the category, consumer, competitor, and product expert for the segments of the category managed. Conduct competitive benchmarking globally. Analyze the global marketplace and identify key areas of opportunity to capitalize on growth that can deliver sustainable competitive advantage and profitability. Analyze global pick-list options and lead PMP Projects to develop and enhance its optionality and applicability. Manage product portfolio and enhance utilization across regional businesses. Execute key stage gate, innovation projects for global scale and efficiency. Manage assigned category segments to achieve short, medium, and long-term business goals. Vet business cases for innovation projects to maximize ROIC and achieve margin requirements. Deliver topline and bottom line global category segment P&L commitments and results.

Position will require up to 50% domestic and international travel to visit global facilities to support production plans, attend key client meetings, and for Internal Sales meetings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field of study. Foreign degree equivalent accepted.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Marketing Specialist or a related occupation.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Brand or marketing functions.
  • One (1) year experience with base business product or brand management; marketing commercialization, including developing and delivering strong marketing strategies and plans; private label development and marketing campaigns across a portfolio of consumer goods; use of qual and quant analytics; and customer or consumer insight for building and redefining categories, products, marketing, and business plans.
