About the Role

As a Frontend Software Engineer II, Messaging Platform at Attentive, you will play a key role in shaping the user-facing experience for our messaging products. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to build scalable, reusable frontend components and systems using modern frameworks and tooling.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Build reusable, scalable frontend components using modern frameworks.
• Partner with designers and backend engineers for seamless user experiences.
• Drive architectural discussions ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Support teammates through code reviews and collaboration.
• Identify UI performance optimizations and enhance developer efficiency.
• Contribute to frontend best practices and shared component libraries.

Your Expertise

• 3+ years professional experience in frontend development.
• Expertise in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern build tools.
• Strong understanding of architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility.
• Experience with integrating backend APIs and micro-frontend environments.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.

• Backend: Java/Spring Boot, Gradle, DynamoDB, AirFlow, Postgres, Redis on AWS.
• Frontend: React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Storybook, Radix UI, Vite, esbuild, Playwright.
• Automation: Python, Metaflow, HuggingFace, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Pandas.

Compensation & Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive base salary range of $135,000 - $175,000 annually plus equity and benefits, along with additional perks for health and wellness.
