About the Role
For our Customer Support, Reliability, Security (CRS) service field within the Tribe Identity and Security Platforms (CRSISP), we are seeking you to join our Squad Identity Cloud (SIC) as a Software Developer and Automation Specialist in Identity & Access Management (m/f/d). This is a full-time or part-time position (minimum 30 hours per week) available in Karlsruhe, Berlin, Munich, or Münster. You will work with 6 colleagues across different locations and with diverse interfaces.
Note: On-call duty and a certificate of good conduct are required for this role.
Responsibilities and Opportunities
- You will play a key role in building and further developing our IAM (Identity and Access Management) solutions in the Public Cloud, with a focus on Microsoft Azure/Entra ID and supplemented by GCP.
- You will apply your extensive experience in modern software development and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., using Terraform, Python, PowerShell, GitLab CI/CD) and actively shape the technical foundation for a new Dev team, which you will guide long-term.
- You will integrate security and compliance requirements from the outset into architecture, code, and processes – viewing security as an integral part of the design, not an afterthought.
- You are comfortable in a regulated environment, understanding how to technically implement security and compliance requirements effectively without hindering innovation.
- You will be responsible for integrating complex solutions, advancing our CI/CD landscape with a focus on quality, security, and automation, and contributing your own ideas and experiences.
Qualifications and Profile
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable IT qualification, along with many years of relevant professional experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles, or a comparable IT qualification and experience in leading interdisciplinary (part) projects.
- Deep technical understanding in at least one of the relevant cloud stacks (Azure / GCP) and in topics such as Public Cloud Architectures, Entra ID, SCIM, SSO, Terraform, PowerShell, and GitLab CI/CD.
- Solid knowledge of IT security, regulatory requirements, and secure software architecture, including their implementation in enterprise environments.
- Extensive experience in modern software development, automation, and infrastructure design (IaC).
- Proficient German language skills (C1) and good English skills (B2) for effective communication in an international environment.
- Strong communication skills, ability to structure decision-making processes within the team, and taking ownership of implementation.
- Proactive contribution with experience and foresight to collaboratively design sustainable, secure, and scalable solutions with the team.
