About the role

Consultant Market Risk Management

Atruvia AG is seeking a Consultant Market Risk Management to join their Client Projects and Consulting team within the Controlling, Regulation and Audit Tribe. This role is available as full-time or part-time (starting at 30 hours/week) and can be based in Berlin, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Munich, or Münster. You will be part of the Controlling Chapter/Squad, collaborating with 17 colleagues across different locations and interfaces.

Responsibilities with Perspective

  • As part of an agile team, you will support banks in meeting their regulatory requirements in controlling.
  • In client projects, you will guide banks in implementing VR-Control modules for market price risk management and conduct consultations in technical and business controlling.
  • Your responsibilities may extend to taking over operational controlling tasks within our outsourcing offerings.
  • You will actively contribute to the development of our consulting and outsourcing services and underlying processes.
  • As the primary point of contact for banks, you will maintain direct communication, always prioritizing the client's needs.
  • Willingness for multi-day, nationwide project work and approximately 120 travel days per year is expected.

Personality with Profile

  • Completed vocational training (e.g., Bankkaufmann*frau) with many years of relevant professional experience, or a completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a comparable field with several years of relevant professional experience.
  • Sound banking expertise, ideally with a focus on controlling applications for market price risk management.
  • Familiarity with controlling processes of banks, especially cooperative banks.
  • Strong IT affinity to efficiently implement solutions.
  • Excellent German language skills (minimum C1 level) and good English language skills (B2 level).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, assertiveness, and a strong focus on solutions and results.
