Overview

Atria Senior Living creates communities where employees thrive and residents are well cared for. This role is part of our culinary team focused on kitchen and dining room operations during the absence of the Director of Culinary Services or Restaurant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize and direct kitchen and dining operations.
  • Assist in meal planning, preparation, and execution.
  • Support staff development, training, and evaluations.
  • Manage budgets for food, supplies, and labor.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, quality standards, and regulations.
  • Coordinate special events, banquets and theme meals.
  • Maintain equipment and adequate supplies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (Culinary degree preferred).
  • Minimum five years of cooking experience in hospitality.
  • Food handlers permit as required.
  • Previous management and team leadership experience.
  • Strong organization, time management and basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
