Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring security tools and systems for unusual or suspicious activities.
- Support the triage and documentation of security incidents, alerts, and service requests.
- Review and analyze reported phishing emails or potential security threats under supervision.
- Assist with Security Operations Center (SOC) workflows, including ticket updates and case documentation.
- Help maintain and update security documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Assist with tracking vulnerability remediation efforts.
- Stay current with basic cybersecurity concepts, threats, and best practices.
- May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.
Qualifications
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must successfully complete all Atria specified training programs.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts including operating systems, networking, and cloud platforms.
- Foundational knowledge or coursework in cybersecurity principles (e.g., CIA triad, least privilege, basic threat types).
- Preferred exposure to security tools (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability scanners).
- Preferred understanding basic scripting or query languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, or KQL).
- Strong logical and creative reasoning, detail-orientation, and problem-solving skills.
