The Kubernetes Engineer Role in Brief
As a Kubernetes Engineer, you will join our Atos teams at the client site in Saclay (91). The missions of this team consist of ensuring the Operational Condition Maintenance (MCO) of Kubernetes platforms within the framework of an outsourcing contract.
What You'll Do as a Kubernetes Engineer
- Ensure the MCO of Kubernetes platforms.
- Deploy Kubernetes clusters.
- Deploy applications on the clusters.
- Manage incidents and requests related to the platforms.
- Co-manage, with system engineers, the infrastructure components supporting Kubernetes platforms (HP Servers / ESX / VM Ubuntu and Windows / Load Balancer).
- Maintain advanced monitoring of the infrastructure and applications.
- Manage the capacity planning of the platforms.
- Automate updates via Ansible.
- Perform monthly / semi-annual and annual updates.
- Create comprehensive documentation.
- Contribute to the team's skill development.
Technical Environment
- Containerization: Kubernetes, Docker (50 Clusters).
- Modules: Rancher / Grafana / Valero / LongHorn.
- Virtualization: ESX (20 instances).
- Operating Systems: LINUX (Redhat, Ubuntu) / Windows (200 instances).
