Board Member - Marketing
Atmosfy is seeking a strategic and experienced Board Member specializing in Marketing to join our Advisory Network. As we build the real-time infrastructure layer for the physical world, your expertise will be crucial in shaping our growth and refining our strategies. About Atmosfy
Atmosfy powers discovery of dining, nightlife, travel, and culture through millions of user-generated videos. We are effectively video mapping the physical world, turning creator videos into structured metadata that powers discovery across the Atmosfy app, Google Search, and AI discovery systems like ChatGPT. Our recent partnership with OpenAI means Atmosfy videos now surface directly inside AI answers, making content discoverable everywhere and enabling real-time booking of experiences.
The Atmosfy Advisory Network
We are building a high-signal advisory network of operators, investors, and creators to help shape the future of discovery, commerce, and consumer video. Our network includes 40+ senior leaders from top companies like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Airbnb, Spotify, Google, Apple, Netflix, and Expedia, as well as renowned creators and cultural leaders.

About the Role
As a Board Member - Marketing, you will act as a strategic sounding board for growth ideas, experiments, and prioritization. Your responsibilities will include pressure-testing acquisition, retention, and monetization initiatives, providing perspective on scaling distribution, product loops, and positioning, and sharing valuable pattern recognition from your experience.
What You'll Do
- Strategy & Prioritization: Advise on growth roadmap sequencing and experiment prioritization. Review funnel metrics and identify the highest-leverage opportunities. Pressure-test growth hypotheses before major investments.
- Acquisition & Distribution: Advise on channel strategy across paid, organic, partnerships, and creator ecosystems. Identify scalable distribution opportunities. Make introductions that unlock strategic channels.
- Retention & Monetization: Review onboarding flows and activation sequences. Provide feedback on monetization and conversion optimization. Identify friction driving drop-off at D1 / D7 / D30.
- Product-Led Growth: Advise on viral loops, invites, and referral systems. Provide perspective on creator activation and community growth.
