Role Description
The Sr. Principal Enterprise Delivery Manager, Migrations is responsible for guiding Atlassian’s largest and most complex customers through their cloud transition. You will serve as a strategic advisor and technical consultant to senior customer decision-makers while leading the delivery and governance of large-scale cloud migrations. Your responsibilities include translating strategy into disciplined execution, mentoring peers, and managing cross-functional teams across Sales, Support, Product Management, Engineering, and more.
Responsibilities
- Executive & Market Leadership: Engage with C-suite executives to drive migration strategies.
- Industry Thought Leadership: Represent Atlassian at executive briefings and industry events.
- Migration Strategy: Lead end-to-end cloud transformation aligning with business objectives.
- Risk Management: Oversee technical, regulatory, and security risks during migrations.
- Technical Architecture: Communicate technical components such as APIs and automation.
- Trusted Advisor: Provide data-backed insights to guide decision-making for senior stakeholders.
- Delivery Excellence: Govern the migration lifecycle with clear milestones and reporting.
- Stakeholder Management: Lead communications and project steering with clear accountability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor peers and promote internal enablement and training initiatives.
- Industry Insight: Stay informed on industry trends to propose innovative solutions.
Qualifications
Applicants should have over 15 years of experience in complex technology programs, especially in migrations and transformations. A proven record of leading multi‑year, multi‑workstream programs with C‑suite visibility is essential. Expertise in cloud and hybrid architectures, APIs, integrations, and automation is required. Strong negotiation skills, leadership, and the ability to mentor peers are crucial. A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent is desired.
