Responsibilities
- Partner with direct sales, partners, and larger account teams to manage Fortune 500 customers, tracking their profiles, business challenges, roadmaps, and solution success to optimize outcomes within your territory.
- Participate in customer discovery to understand their current state, identify business problems, and map them to relevant Atlassian products, platforms, and solutions.
- Proactively identify additional opportunities for cross-product and solution expansion.
- Investigate, discover, and assess client pain points comprehensively.
- Act as a product expert for Atlassian software during the pre-sales process, articulating and demonstrating the value and transformative potential of the software.
- Possess a broad understanding of the full Atlassian product and solution offerings, crafting a compelling narrative of how they integrate to empower teams.
- Lead engaging, value-based demonstrations, both standard and customized, adapting to the diverse needs of various stakeholders, from in-depth individual product demos to presenting the overarching portfolio vision.
- Understand, lead, and guide the customer's technical needs throughout the sales process to secure their buy-in on Atlassian as the optimal choice.
- Forge strong, proactive partnerships with aligned account executives, regularly discussing pipeline, current and upcoming opportunities, sharing bi-directional feedback, and collaboratively improving the sales cycle.
- Understand, track, and document product feedback and competitive intelligence from customers, advocating for internal development by sharing insights with product management.
- Continuously learn, develop, and refine your pre-sales, product, solution, platform offering knowledge, and sales processes as Atlassian products evolve.
Qualifications
We are seeking a dynamic, proactive team member eager to learn from and contribute to our passionate and growing organization. Ideally, you bring 2+ years of experience interacting with customers in a pre-sales capacity, demonstrating excellent communication, strong presentation skills for multi-level audiences, and exceptional agility to achieve results. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required. You possess a customer-centric mindset with a proven ability to build executive relationships with clients and galvanize internal teams to collaborate across the company to meet customer needs. You are a creative problem-solver adept at interpreting complex business challenges, distilling them into clear solutions, and collaborating with prospects, partners, and the Atlassian sales team to deliver compelling value-based solutions. You are equally comfortable operating in both business and technical contexts, whether interacting with executives or engaging in technical discussions with specialized audiences. You are passionate about continuous learning and growth, open to feedback, resilient in the face of setbacks, driven to succeed, and committed to making both customers and Atlassian successful.
