Responsibilities

As a Solutions Engineer, Spanish Speaker, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with direct sales, partners, and larger account teams to support Fortune 500 customers, tracking their profiles, business problems, roadmaps, and solution success to optimize accounts within your territory.
  • Participating in customer discovery to understand their current state and business problems, mapping them to Atlassian products, platforms, and solutions.
  • Identifying additional opportunities for cross-product/solution expansion and investigating client pain points.
  • Acting as a product expert for Atlassian software during the pre-sales process, demonstrating its value and impact on customer workflows.
  • Having a broad understanding of the full Atlassian product and solution offerings, articulating how they integrate to empower teams.
  • Leading compelling value-based demonstrations, customized for various stakeholders, from deep product dives to presenting the portfolio's larger vision.
  • Guiding customers' technical needs through the sales process to secure their buy-in on Atlassian solutions.
  • Forging strong partnerships with aligned account executives, collaborating on pipeline, opportunities, feedback, and sales cycle improvements.
  • Tracking and documenting product feedback and competitive intelligence, advocating for internal development with product management.
  • Continuously learning and refining pre-sales, product, solution, platform knowledge, and sales processes as Atlassian products evolve.

Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic, go-getter team member eager to both learn from and contribute to our passionate organization. You should possess 2+ years of experience interacting with customers in a pre-sales capacity, demonstrating excellent communication, strong presentation skills for multi-level audiences, and exceptional agility to achieve results. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.

You have a customer-centric mindset with a proven history of building executive relationships, mobilizing internal teams for cross-company collaboration, and meeting customer needs. You are a creative problem solver, capable of interpreting complex business challenges, distilling them into solutions, and collaborating with prospects, partners, and the Atlassian sales team to deliver compelling value. You are comfortable navigating both business and technical contexts, engaging with executives or discussing technical details with specialized audiences. You are a lifelong learner, open to feedback, resilient to failure, and passionate about driving success for both customers and Atlassian.
