Key Responsibilities for a Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise
- Partner with account teams and channel partners managing Fortune 500 customer accounts, diligently tracking customer profiles, business complexities, roadmaps, and solution success to optimize customer engagement within your territory.
- Participate in comprehensive customer discovery sessions to understand current states, identify desired business problem solutions, and map these needs to relevant Atlassian products, platforms, and solutions.
- Proactively identify and probe for additional opportunities for cross-product and solution expansion.
- Investigate, discover, and thoroughly assess client pain points to propose targeted solutions.
- Act as a product expert for Atlassian software throughout the pre-sales process, effectively articulating and demonstrating the software's value and its transformative impact on working methods.
- Possess a broad understanding of the full Atlassian product and solution offerings, crafting a compelling narrative of how they collaboratively unlock team potential.
- Lead engaging value-based demonstrations, both standard and customized, adapting to the diverse needs of various stakeholders, from deep individual product demos to presenting the overarching portfolio vision.
- Understand, lead, and guide the customer's technical requirements during the sales process to secure their buy-in on Atlassian as the optimal decision.
- Proactively forge strong partnerships with aligned account executives, regularly discussing pipeline, current and upcoming opportunities, needs, bi-directional feedback, and collaborative improvements for the selling cycle.
- Understand, track, and document product feedback and competitive intelligence gathered from customers, advocating for internal development by sharing insights with product management.
- Continuously learn, develop, and refine your pre-sales and product, solution, and platform offering knowledge as well as sales processes as Atlassian products evolve.
Qualifications and Background
We are seeking a dynamic, proactive team member with a go-getter attitude who will both learn from and contribute to our passionate and expanding organization.
- 5+ years of experience interacting with enterprise customers in a pre-sales capacity, demonstrating excellent communication, strong presentation skills for multi-level audiences, and unmatched agility to achieve job objectives.
- You are a creative problem solver capable of interpreting complex business problems, simplifying them into actionable solutions, and collaborating effectively with prospects, partners, and the Atlassian sales team to deliver compelling value-based solutions.
- You are equally comfortable navigating both business and technical contexts, interacting with executives or engaging in in-depth technical discussions with specialized audiences.
- You possess a strong desire for continuous learning and personal growth, embracing challenges, open to giving and receiving feedback, resilient to setbacks, driven to succeed, and passionate about ensuring both customer and Atlassian success.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
At Atlassian, we are committed to designing equitable, transparent, and competitive compensation programs. To achieve this, our baseline salary range is intentionally higher than typical market rates, as we anticipate hiring most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within this range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. In the United States, we operate with three distinct geographic pay zones. For the Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
- Zone A: USD 168,300 - USD 219,725
- Zone B: USD 151,200 - USD 197,400
- Zone C: USD 139,500 - USD 182,125
