Responsibilities of a Senior Solution Engineer, ITSM/ESM

Atlassian is actively seeking a Senior Solution Engineer, ITSM/ESM to contribute to its expanding business and team. Solution Engineers at Atlassian are adept at tackling complex customer challenges and securing significant enterprise deals. In this role, you will collaborate directly with enterprise sales teams and channel partners to understand the unique requirements of Atlassian’s customers. Your responsibilities will include strategizing to navigate winning sales cycles, delivering compelling value-based demonstrations, supporting enterprise Proof of Concepts, and ultimately contributing to business closure. This is an ideal opportunity for customer-obsessed, top-performing enterprise Solutions Engineers.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer journey.
  • Investigate, discover, and assess client pain points, mapping business and technical requirements to Atlassian capabilities.
  • Partner with sales management to align overall account plans and achieve customer outcomes.
  • Deliver deeply compelling presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts to customers and prospects.
  • Collaborate with product management to advance Atlassian’s product line and provide crucial customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • You possess at least 5 years of experience interacting with enterprise customers in a pre-sales capacity.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering successful customer outcomes and building trusted relationships with various stakeholders.
  • You demonstrate deep knowledge and understanding of the ITSM/ESM domain, with extensive experience in the EMEA market.
  • You are equally comfortable navigating both business and technical contexts.
  • You are a keen learner, open to giving and receiving feedback, resilient to failure, driven to win, and passionate about client success.
  • French & Spanish speaking skills are essential.
  • Portuguese language skills are a nice to have, but not required.
