Overview

Your Future Team
You will join the AI Design team as the first mobile designer at Atlassian, reporting to the Senior Design Manager, AI. You will work on flagship AI experiences and partner with teams across the organization, mainly based in Australia and the West Coast of North America.
What You'll Do
- Scale flagship AI experiences and define Rovo’s visual and system language.
- Serve as the mobile design expert enhancing interaction, visual, and system design.
- Balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, including mentoring team members.
- Utilize AI to design AI-enabled products and share best practices.
- Collaborate with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams for a unified AI vision.
Your Background
- 12+ years in product design with a focus on mobile (iOS and Android).
- Expertise in mobile interaction, visual design and accessibility.
- Experience in building and evolving mobile design systems at scale.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated leadership in design.
- Background in applied AI within product experiences like search, AI chat, and agents.
- Ability to balance customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.
- Experience in improving processes to boost product value and team velocity.
