Job Description

Overview

DX, now part of Atlassian, is a rapidly growing SaaS company focused on helping engineering leaders build high-performing, productive teams. Our platform provides actionable insights into developer experience and productivity, empowering major companies like Netflix, Uber, Dell, Pfizer, and Vanguard. Having grown from a bootstrapped startup to a category-defining company, DX's recent acquisition by Atlassian means greater resources, accelerated product innovation, and an even broader impact for teams worldwide.

About the Role: Marketing Coordinator - Demand Generation

We are seeking a Marketing Coordinator - Demand Generation to play a crucial role in supporting our demand generation programs at DX. This is a hands-on position, requiring deep engagement with tools, data, and the intricate details that drive successful campaigns. You will contribute to executing campaigns across various channels, including paid ads, email, SEO, and our website. Projects will range from well-defined tasks to ambiguous challenges that require creative problem-solving from the ground up.

Your daily responsibilities may include building prospect lists, cleaning data, drafting compelling copy, conducting QA for landing pages, and meticulously analyzing metrics to identify effective strategies. This role is ideal for individuals early in their career (1–3 years of experience) who are eager to tackle complex problems, aren't afraid of "unglamorous" foundational work, and are driven to master the fundamentals of B2B demand generation through practical, behind-the-scenes experience.

This hybrid role requires four days a week in DX's downtown Salt Lake City office, with an optional work-from-home day on Thursdays. Parking passes are provided for all in-office employees.

Responsibilities

This is a dynamic role, with tasks adapting to team needs. Example projects and responsibilities include:

  • Paid Campaign Analysis And Management:
    • Support the setup, QA, and ongoing management of paid campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
    • Edit and iterate on ad copy; help coordinate creative tests and new angles to try.
    • Pull performance data, keep dashboards up to date, and surface patterns or issues to the team, even when the data is messy or incomplete.
  • Email Programs:
    • Build and maintain prospect lists, including cleaning data, de-duplicating records, and fixing CRM issues.
    • Draft email copy and sequences based on briefs from demand generation managers.
    • Assist with scheduling, QA, and deployment of nurture, outbound, and lifecycle campaigns.
    • Monitor performance (opens, clicks, replies, unsubscribes) and flag problems early, even if it means digging through logs or spreadsheets.
  • Content And Website Optimization:
    • Coordinate publishing of SEO-optimized content in our CMS, including formatting, internal links, and on-page details.
    • Assist with setting up and monitoring A/B tests on landing pages, forms, and conversion paths.
    • Support experimental programs (e.g., ABM, direct mail) with list building, asset coordination, vendor wrangling, and follow-up tracking.
