Overview

This role is located in the Pacific Time Zone. Candidates must be willing and able to work within this time zone to qualify. This position is not eligible for F1 and J1 students and is not available for any work sponsorship.

In this role, you will embrace diverse responsibilities, crafting creative solutions for customers' most significant challenges, ensuring you are never bored. The APM grad program is specifically designed to accelerate the growth of exceptionally creative problem solvers into the next generation of global leaders. Responsibilities

  • Conducting customer and partner interviews to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Creating precise product specifications that effectively meet both user and business requirements.
  • Researching and clearly communicating competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
  • Identifying and articulating new market and product opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelor's or Master’s degree program, with graduation expected by Spring 2026.
  • Demonstrated passion for building and analyzing technology products, understanding customer needs, and navigating market dynamics.
  • A keen interest in translating customer insights into tangible results for engineering teams.
  • Ability to consider problems from multiple perspectives, including those of customers and development teams.
  • Deep understanding and appreciation for the value of collaboration and teamwork.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Entrepreneurial experience in any domain.
  • Prior internship experience in product management, software development, or consulting.
  • Solid knowledge of the technical aspects of software development.
  • An understanding of what constitutes good design, gained either through personal design/UI work or collaborative experience with designers.
  • Experience driving decisions effectively in the face of ambiguity and change.

Compensation

At Atlassian, competitive and equitable compensation programs are a priority. The baseline of the salary range is set higher than typical market rates, with the expectation that most candidates will be hired near this baseline. Actual base pay within the range is determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience. In the United States, Atlassian operates with three geographic pay zones. For this Associate Product Manager, 2026 Graduate role, the current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

  • Zone A: $117,000 - $152,750
  • Zone B: $105,300 - $137,475
  • Zone C: $97,200 - $126,900
