Oracle Application System Analyst II

POSITION SUMMARY

The Applications Systems Analyst II reviews, analyzes and modifies programming/builds of systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing. The role consults with teams and users to clarify operating procedures and program initiatives. It also may involve writing documentation such as manuals, the CSC Knowledge Base, and SOPs.

This position requires on-call responsibilities and rotational shift coverage (early and late-shifts) as needed, and acts as a liaison to other AtlantiCare departments.

Support is provided through quality customer service, performance improvement efforts, and a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, nursing, or a related field (or 2 additional years of related experience).
• Driver license required.
• 2 years related experience required.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

• Develop an in-depth knowledge of systems through design, development, and modifications.
• Respond effectively to user issues and document operational workflows.
• Promote user engagement and execute system adoption strategies.
• Maintain system databases, codes, policies, and conduct periodic data maintenance.
• Participate in incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Assist in system tests, audits, and training sessions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works with computers, laptops, printers, fax machines, copiers, and telephones. The role involves repetitive movements, occasional driving, and physical tasks like standing and walking.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This position reports to department leadership.
