Oracle Application System Analyst II

POSITION SUMMARY

The Oracle Application System Analyst II reviews, analyzes and modifies programming/builds of systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support an organization’s application system. The role involves consulting with team members and users to identify procedures and clarify program initiatives. Documentation including manuals, CSC Knowledge Base entries, and SOPs is expected. The position requires sound judgment in planning and executing various tasks.

This role includes on-call responsibilities and rotational shift coverage (early and late shifts) as needed. The Analyst acts as a liaison to other AtlantiCare departments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in systems design, development, and implementation.
• Respond to user issues and serve as a resource across departments.
• Document operational workflows for system enhancements and upgrades.
• Develop user guides, reports and support automation efforts.
• Engage in system-wide quality improvement and incident management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in IT, nursing or related field required or 2 additional years of related experience. A valid driver license is required along with 2 years of related experience.

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

• Develop a deep knowledge of system applications.
• Provide timely resolution to user issues and document workflows.
• Promote end-user engagement and assist in communications.
• Maintain system databases and support documents accurately.
• Participate in testing, audits and training sessions.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The role involves using computers, laptops, printers and other office equipment. It requires repetitive motion and occasional driving.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

This position reports to department leadership.
