Job Details
Position Summary
The Compensation Analyst administers wage and salary administration and educates and trains management about compensation policies and programs while providing expert and accurate advice to staff and management. The role involves determining pay grades, preparing job descriptions based on job responsibilities, participating in compensation surveys, and ensuring compliance with AtlantiCare policy and DOL regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer wage and salary administration.
- Develop job descriptions and determine pay grades.
- Participate in compensation surveys and market analysis.
- Share best practices in Performance Management.
- Support survey readiness and compliance (JCHAO requirements).
- Provide quality customer service and teamwork.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field (or equivalent experience) and 2+ years of compensation administration experience within HR or hospital settings is required. Strong analytical, job evaluation, market analysis, and Microsoft computer applications skills are necessary. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
Performance Expectations & Work Environment
Candidates must demonstrate competencies as per the Assessment and Evaluation Tool. This position requires consistent desk/computer work with occasional walking, standing, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
Reporting
This position reports to Department Leadership and may supervise or direct additional incumbents as assigned.
