Athlete To Athlete is a fast-growing sports-tech startup connecting NCAA Division I athletes with the next generation of youth athletes. In under 3 years, the platform has grown to 20,000+ athletes and is scaling quickly. The company seeks a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to drive paid acquisition and fuel exponential growth.

About the Role

As a Senior Performance Marketing Manager, you will drive new customer acquisition via Meta Ads and other paid channels. This role owns the performance marketing roadmap, leads the marketing team, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to meet acquisition targets, lower CAC and build a robust martech foundation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the performance marketing team across Meta Ads and emerging channels (TikTok, YouTube, Google, etc.).
  • Build and execute a roadmap for channel expansion and profitable scaling.
  • Develop and run structured testing frameworks including audiences, offers, and creative iterations.
  • Collaborate with Creative Strategist on ad briefs and creative feedback loops.
  • Work with the Lifecycle Marketer on remarketing and optimization strategies.
  • Partner with Sales to align acquisition initiatives with lead quality and conversion.
  • Enhance the martech and tracking stack for accurate CAC reporting.
  • Manage external vendors, agencies, or freelancers as needed.
  • Report on performance, insights, and opportunities to the executive team.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in performance marketing with expertise in Meta Ads.
  • Proven success scaling paid channels to 7-8 figures annually with profitable CAC.
  • Experience in launching new channels (TikTok, YouTube, Google) from scratch.
  • Prior leadership of a performance marketing team.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect metrics to business outcomes.
  • Familiarity with martech, attribution, and reporting solutions.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • Background in B2C lead generation; experience in sports or youth markets is a plus.
