Overview

ATC Computer Transport & Logistics is a European logistics, white glove, and technical services specialist for data centres. Established in 1979, ATC focuses on installing and maintaining data centres with precision and safety.

Role Description

The Data Centre Installer (DCI) works inside clients’ data centres to deliver, position, and install server racks for cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes safety, security, and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend client sites punctually with required equipment, PPE and documentation.
• Unload, unpack, and position IT hardware using power tools.
• Lift up to 30-40 kg, with occasional exertions up to 50 kg safely.
• Cable server racks, including patching and dressing fibre and copper cables (training provided).
• Provide high-level customer service and clear communication.
• Complete daily checklists and administration tasks.
• Adhere to clients’ health, safety, and security protocols.
• Possibly perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid class B driving licence with a good record.
• Basic experience with hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Email.
• Language proficiency: B1 in English and A2 in local language.
• Previous experience in data centres, logistics or construction is a plus.
• Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing priorities.
