Overview
At Asurint, based in Cleveland, Ohio, we are building a leading technology company in background screening. The Compliance Researcher is responsible for conducting criminal reinvestigation research and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve and enter information from computer and web-based systems.
- Investigate alternate options and coordinate with vendors.
- Locate data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide timely updates and document steps on Salesforce.
- Identify best practices to address research deficiencies.
- Perform complex research on escalated cases and propose solutions.
- Communicate with courts and external vendors to resolve issues.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience in research or investigations, customer service, and legal/court system understanding is required. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Salesforce are preferred. A high school diploma is required. A bachelor’s degree, background screening experience, and additional certifications are a plus.
Working Conditions
This role is performed remotely within the United States or at our Cleveland, Ohio headquarters. Evening, weekend work and occasional travel may be required. Employees must maintain a safe work environment, whether on-site or remote.
