Introduction to the Consultant - SAP Role

Are you ready to disrupt the industry and change lives? AstraZeneca is seeking a highly skilled Consultant - SAP to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will manage and support enterprise-scale Linux systems, cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, and various database environments. Your expertise in RHEL-based systems, SAP Pacemaker High Availability Clusters, and cloud infrastructure services will be crucial in ensuring system reliability, performance, and security.

Accountabilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Linux systems.
  • Architect and maintain SAP HANA Pacemaker Clusters for critical workloads.
  • Administer cloud infrastructure components on AWS and Azure.
  • Deliver operations and maintenance of RDS/DBaaS instances.
  • Automate OS and Cloud operations using Ansible, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
  • Manage ITSM lifecycle through tools like ServiceNow.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams for integrated solutions.

Essential Skills/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field is preferred along with certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE, AWS SysOps/Admin, Azure Administrator, CKA, or relevant database certifications.

Desirable Skills/Experience

  • Experience in SAP HANA on cloud and hybrid setups.
  • Exposure to Kubernetes-based workloads (EKS/AKS) and containerized applications.
  • Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana stack for observability.
  • Understanding of DevSecOps concepts, GitHub, and secure CI/CD pipeline practices.

Work Environment

AstraZeneca expects in-person working a minimum of three days per week, while also offering flexibility to accommodate individual needs.
