Assembly Operator - PaintLine Weekend AM Shift

Position Overview

This role is for an Assembly Operator on the PaintLine during the Weekend AM Shift (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) with 12 working hours per day. The Operator is responsible for performing assembly tasks, quality checks, changeovers, and maintaining work area standards.

Essential Functions

• Follow operator instruction sheets and verbal directions.
• Check products and component dimensions using gauges and indicators.
• Change parts and fixtures to support product type changeovers.
• Inspect for defects and record data for manufacturing reports.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area while following the 5S policy.
• Adhere to TS16949 and ISO14000 quality standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement and communicate machine issues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and meet production goals.
• Basic math skills and manual dexterity required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Must pass pre-employment assessments, drug screen and background checks.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a plant environment with required safety gear including hats, safety glasses, and steel toe shoes.
