About the Role
Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS), a subsidiary of GovTech, is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer Contract to contribute to building and operating applications of national importance. In a dynamic and cyber secure environment, you will collaborate with agencies, product managers, designers and partner teams to deliver secure, scalable software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend and frontend systems.
- Build secure services using Python, Node.js, and Go.
- Develop user-facing features with modern frameworks like Vue.js or React.
- Operate AWS-based, cloud-native services with infrastructure as code.
- Debug, optimize, and ensure operational excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner agencies.
- Uphold high standards in code quality and testing.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, or Go.
- Experience with frontend development using Vue.js, React, etc.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Understanding of system design, scalability, and security practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CDK, etc.).
- Exposure to DevOps practices including CI/CD and observability.
- Experience in government or regulated environments is a plus.
