About the Role
Assurant is looking for Remote Claims Adjusters to join our growing team! As a Financial Services Claims Adjuster, you will work directly with policyholders during the claims process. Your role includes listening, analyzing problems, and guiding clients through claim procedures while proactively recommending measures to avoid future issues.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Educate clients on card benefit insurance programs and procedures.
- Provide accurate, professional service with a customer-focused approach.
- Review claim data and ensure documentation accuracy.
- Investigate questionable claims in collaboration with management.
- Adjudicate claims and make approval/denial decisions in line with policies.
- Document all actions and outcomes accurately in the system.
- Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support multiple client product lines while staying updated with industry changes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Claims Adjuster experience.
- Active All-Lines license with current education hours.
- Strong communication, listening, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Minimum high school diploma or GED.

Training & Shifts
Classroom training is provided in a virtual setting over approximately 7 weeks, typically Monday-Friday from 8am – 5pm EST. Work schedules vary between 8am and 8pm EST, Monday through Friday.
