Overview
Ashby is seeking a former engineer turned leader to double our growing Engineering team. As the Software Engineering Manager, Product Engineering Canada, you will lead and coach teams to build outstanding products and scale our engineering culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 3-5 Engineers and hire 3-5 more talent
- Provide feedback on product and technical specifications
- Influence and coach individual contributors to deliver loosely defined projects
- Debug customer issues, ship bug fixes, and improve developer experience
- Lead department and company-wide initiatives including improving PR reviews and candidate interviews

Your First Six Months
Learn the Ashby environment, contribute to product changes, and conduct regular reviews with your manager. A significant portion of your time will be spent in learning and adapting to our culture and technical stack.
