Summary

The Regional Human Resources Director develops a high-engagement culture to help drive business success and build relationships with business partners in a collaborative environment. This position supports their respective region within the company, serving as the HR management expert. The Director provides leadership, communications, and oversight to ensure the business complies with federal, state, and municipal regulations. This role also coaches and mentors plant HR Managers to continue to be integral business partners, providing a high level of customer service throughout the organization.

What you’ll be contributing:

  • Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines and participate in meetings.
  • Support talent management strategy, identify leadership competencies, conduct gap analysis, and collaborate with the leadership team to develop a talent pipeline.
  • Coordinate and organize the annual Talent Review/Succession Planning process and materials.
  • Work with the leadership team to ensure effective initiatives to support engagement, inclusion, diversity, and continuous improvements.
  • Provide coaching and support in the creation and execution of Individual Development Plans.
  • Oversee employee relations issues (terminations, performance issues, complaints, lawsuits, discrimination, conflict, counseling, etc.) and counsel employees and managers.
  • Support and implement staffing strategies with the Talent Acquisition Manager to attract top talent, improve bench strength, and market the company as an "Employer of Choice."
  • Establish credibility and rapport with stakeholders ranging from hourly employees to executives.
  • Act as a change agent throughout the organization, promote teamwork, and interface with all employees on a continual basis.
  • Train staff on topics such as job interviews, performance reviews, harassment, alcohol and drug policy, etc.
  • Support and implement leadership development training programs throughout the organization.
  • Manage the HR department budget.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Ability to read, write and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.
  • Minimum 4 Year - Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduate Degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Leadership capacity or related field.
  • Ability to simultaneously and effectively handle multiple projects.
  • Ability to inspire and develop staff.
  • Ability to make decisions and to exercise sound judgment in arriving at a conclusion.
  • Ability to lead, direct, and manage organizations, programs, and people.
  • Ability to perform, organize, and prioritize work independently.
  • Ability to be friendly and service-oriented.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems.
  • Ability to use computer programs to input, store, and retrieve data, as well as to generate reports and documentation used in related projects.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to coordinate and develop innovative strategies and recommendations for initiating and establishing goals.
  • Ability to get work done through others using effective influencing skills, delegation, scheduling, and time management practices.
  • International and Domestic Travel up to 25%.

Compensation

Compensation: $151,400.00 - $185,100.00 USD. Eligible for yearly bonus.
