We have a fantastic opportunity to join ASEE Romania’s Dedicated Solutions delivery team in Romania! We are seeking an experienced Networking & Security Engineer to assist us in offering solutions to our customers across diverse industries.

Required knowledge and experience:

Security:

• Must have at least 5 years of applied Information Security experience or equivalent achieved security certification.
• Hands-on experience with several recognized technology vendors is mandatory.
• Relevant security/technical certifications with several recognized security technology vendors are mandatory.
• Advanced expertise in designing and developing security solutions/architectures.
• Experience with offering technical consultancy and support to external clients.
• Be knowledgeable of current regulations, standards, and security best practices for different types of industries, in order to be able to identify opportunities for the security business.
• Project management skills or experience are desired, but not mandatory.
• ITC profile, university degree or InfoSec specialization are desired, but not mandatory.

Networking:

• Configure and administer switches and routers (Cisco, Juniper, Forti, F5), knowledge about VLAN, trunking, STP/RSTP/MST.
• Experience with VPN technology (IPSec, SSL).
• Log analysis, firewall rules optimization, traffic monitoring.
• Clear understanding of routing & switching, firewall policy design, NAT, zone-based security.

Relevant certifications are considered a plus:

• CCNP / CCNA
• Fortinet FCP / NSE
• JNCIA / JNCIS
• Linux (LPIC or equivalent)
