Program Director, Clinical Regulatory
Location: Remote
Department: Enterprise Clinical Informatics
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 hour shift
Salary range: $133,390 - $185,938 per year
Eligible for annual bonus incentive

Responsibilities
The Program Director, Clinical Regulatory leads the strategy, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of digital quality reporting for the Ascension system, ensuring all programs align with federal and state regulations, including CMS and TJC standards. Reporting through the Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Portfolio, this leader manages cross-functional teams—spanning analysts, informaticists, architects, data specialists, and clinical leaders—to embed data-driven improvement into all care settings.
- Lead system-wide digital quality measure (dCQM) reporting strategy and compliance, optimizing data extraction and reporting across multiple EHR platforms in partnership with Technology and external agencies.
- Oversee cross-functional teams to implement and improve clinical quality programs.
- Translate regulatory requirements into actionable workflows for clinical and IT teams, maintaining alignment with evolving regulations, and integrating digital quality metrics into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes.
- Develop dashboards and communicate performance to leadership.
Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management.
Additional Preferences
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Informatics or a related field with at least 7 years of experience
- Deep knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements for acute and ambulatory care (e.g., CMS IQR, QPP/MIPS, etc).
- Proven experience working with multiple EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, CPN).
- Ability to interpret and operationalize complex clinical quality specifications.
- CPHQ and/or CPHIMS Certification highly preferred
