Role Responsibilities
In this role, you will make a significant impact by:
- Evaluating and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs.
- Performing initial and ongoing patient assessments.
- Establishing, revising, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills for patient treatment.
- Overseeing the activities of physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel.
Minimum Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- Physical Therapy (PT) credential from the Texas Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners required within 180 days of hire or transfer.
Education
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
