About the Role

We are looking for an experienced L2 Support Engineer (Senior) – Guidewire Billing System to support and maintain Guidewire-based insurance applications in a production environment. The role focuses on handling BAU operations, resolving incidents within SLA timelines, monitoring system performance, and supporting integrations within the Guidewire ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the insurance domain, Guidewire Billing System, and production support processes, along with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure application stability and customer satisfaction.

Job Title: L2 (Senior) - Guidewire (Billing System)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2 production support for Guidewire Billing System applications within the insurance domain.
  • Manage BAU operations and ensure system availability and performance.
  • Handle incident management and resolution using tools such as JIRA, ensuring adherence to SLAs.
  • Monitor incidents and track SLA compliance, ensuring timely resolution and communication with stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Guidewire integrations and web services.
  • Perform log monitoring and analysis to identify root causes of production issues.
  • Support Guidewire Cloud environments and assist in maintaining application health.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for issue resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Work with CI/CD tools and repositories to support deployments and operational activities.
  • Maintain operational documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Billing System in the Insurance domain.
  • Experience in BAU support and production incident management.
  • Proficiency with incident management tools such as JIRA.
  • Understanding of Guidewire Cloud concepts.
  • Experience with Guidewire Integration Web Services.
  • Proven ability to manage incidents and resolve issues within defined SLAs.
  • Experience in SLA tracking and monitoring.

Desired Qualifications (Optional)

  • Guidewire Associate Certification.
  • Experience with log monitoring tools.
  • Exposure to AWS S3 buckets.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity.
  • Experience using Bitbucket for code repository management.
