As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your primary focus will be on creating qualified sales leads to cultivate new business opportunities. You will manage an assigned roster of leads, including self-sourced prospects and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).Where You'll Work
This is a remote position based in the United States. Preference will be given to candidates within the CST timezone.How You’ll Spend Your Time
- Drive lead generation and client conversion through outbound calls and emails, managing inbound inquiries, and identifying high-potential prospects via effective prospecting and qualification.
- Cultivate new business prospects within the healthcare industry across an assigned U.S. territory.
- Utilize consultative and value-based sales techniques to understand prospect business needs and recommend frontline healthcare training and certification product solutions to key stakeholders and decision-makers (e.g., Healthcare CEOs, CNOs, CMOs, Nurse Educators, Professional Development Directors).
- Conduct effective, efficient, and professional communications via telephone, email, webinars, and social media to achieve performance metrics.
- Schedule and coordinate discovery meetings with relevant Sales team members.
- Foster strong client relationships and enhance the brand image by collaborating with Marketing on campaigns, maintaining accurate CRM records, and managing leads throughout the sales process.
- Support the sales team by participating in strategy meetings, staying informed on industry trends, understanding prospect challenges, and preparing sales plays and messaging for the Call Calendar.
- Streamline the top of the sales funnel to facilitate the success of Account Managers and Solutions Executives.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 2+ years of recent, successful sales experience with a proven track record of overachievement.
- Experience selling products or services to the healthcare industry is a plus.
- Experience using CRM to manage a territory.
- Previous experience, efficiency, and comfort working remotely.
- Ability to build curiosity by creating and communicating the value of products and services to prospective, new clients.
- Proficiency in presenting to small and large audiences via conference calls and web-enabled environments using PowerPoint and other technologies.
- Ability to ask effective questions to identify prospect needs and provide relevant product solutions through active, empathy-focused listening.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to ensure positive client relations and support throughout the sales process.
- High level of professionalism with colleagues and clients.
- High level of intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to be coached.
- Ability to offer solutions professionally to clients and team members.
- High level of follow-up, both internally and externally.
