Description
We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill our Sales Engineer role covering the Plains region (ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL). The role involves strengthening the specification position of the entire ASC portfolio at the engineer and owner level. You will work closely with the sales team to develop a strategic annual target list and document all activities in the CRM system.
How You Will Help
- Strategic Planning & Specification Development: Develop a yearly game plan for ASC portfolio specifications.
- Product & Market Expertise: Gain deep understanding of products, specifications, and market trends.
- Industry Engagement: Network with key engineering associations like ASPE, ASHRAE, and SFPE.
- Contractor Collaboration: Serve as the liaison between contractors and engineers.
- Subject Matter Expertise: Collaborate with the Construction Technology team to support ASC engineering software.
- CRM Utilization: Document all activities and strategic plans per corporate guidelines.
- Administrative & Communication: Coordinate with regional counterparts and report on market trends.
What You Will Bring
- College graduate with an Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred).
- CSI Certification is a plus.
- Proven experience in writing technical specifications for mechanical systems.
- Previous technical sales experience and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and a team player with strong organizational skills.
