Sales Engineer at ASC Engineered Solutions

We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill our Sales Engineer role in the Plaines region covering ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, MO, WI, IL. This role is focused on strengthening the specification position of the entire ASC portfolio at the engineer and owner level.

How You Will Help

Strategic Planning & Specification Development: Develop and implement a yearly game plan focusing on ASC proprietary products, work with the sales team and Rep Firms, and document activities in a CRM system.

Product & Market Expertise: Gain in-depth product knowledge, understand technical specifications, and stay informed on market trends and competitive products.

Industry Engagement & Association Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering associations like ASPE, ASHRAE, and SFPE to boost ASC's brand presence and develop industry relationships.

Contractor Collaboration: Act as the primary contact between contractors and engineers to ensure ASC products are specified in projects.

Subject Matter Expertise & Technology Collaboration: Serve as a SME with the Construction Technology team and assist users with the company’s engineering software.

Document Control & CRM Utilization: Maintain detailed documentation via CRM and meet corporate reporting guidelines.

Administrative & Corporate Communication: Fulfill administrative requirements and coordinate with regional counterparts and cross-functional teams.

What You Will Bring

  • College graduate with an Engineering degree (Mechanical preferred).
  • CSI Certification and proven experience in technical specifications.
  • Background in technical sales with excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and willing to travel overnight.
  • Located near a major metropolitan area with easy airport access.
