About the Senior Data Business Analyst Role

Join our Personal Lending Transformation team at ASB Bank. As a Senior Data Business Analyst, you will drive technology and business change by delivering robust analysis and actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to elicit, validate, and manage requirements.
  • Lead comprehensive business and data analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Document current and target state processes and user journeys.
  • Develop and maintain data governance, risk, and compliance frameworks.
  • Drive automation, simplification, and standardization in workflows.
  • Apply advanced SQL and database concepts to complex datasets.
  • Develop Excel logic to support solution delivery.
  • Champion agile maturity and continuous improvement within the squad.

About You

You have at least five years' experience as a Business Analyst with strong technical skills in data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and agile ways of working. You excel in communication, relationship building, and problem-solving whilst maintaining a strong focus on continuous improvement.
