The Opportunity

This is a 12-month contract role for a Data Engineer and Visualization Specialist who enjoys working on the full data lifecycle – from integration and pipeline development to visualization and reporting. Work with global stakeholders, modern technologies, and contribute to projects that drive meaningful business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse.
  • Integrate data from various sources into unified platforms.
  • Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with business teams to deliver actionable insights.
  • Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, security, and privacy standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams across engineering, data science, and business units.

Skills, Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure services (ADF, Databricks, Synapse, Data Lake).
  • Strong SQL skills with proficiency in Python or PySpark.
  • Proven experience in data integration projects using APIs and multiple sources.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and cloud data governance.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
