About the Role: QA Engineer - Manual and Automation with Python at ArtSoft Consult

ArtSoft Consult is seeking a mid or senior level Automation Quality Assurance Engineer. In this role, you will be a proactive individual responsible for ensuring the highest possible quality in our customer's software releases, specifically within the manufacturing industry. You will implement and perform automation tests using Python, alongside conducting manual testing. Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with developers and product managers/owners to identify system requirements.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and other documents required for complete QA documentation.
• Perform manual testing on simulators and measurement instruments.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
• Develop and apply testing processes for developed software products to meet client needs.
• Implement, run, and maintain automated tests written in Python.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Solid understanding of testing principles and QA best practices.
• Experience in designing and maintaining test cases, test plans, regression suites, and comprehensive QA documentation.
• Strong knowledge of UI testing, functional testing, regression testing, smoke/sanity testing, exploratory testing, and acceptance testing.
• Proficient coding skills in Python.
• Very good English, both written and verbal.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with a BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject are preferred.
• ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Automation testing knowledge is a plus (beyond Python proficiency, perhaps tools/frameworks specific).
